Delete Your Account

Effective Date: August 25, 2025

You can delete your Yian account and all associated data at any time. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to Delete Your Account in the App

1. Open the Yian app on your device.
2. Go to the Account tab.
3. Select Delete Account and confirm your choice.
4. For security, you may be prompted to reauthenticate your account.

What Data Will Be Deleted

• Your account information (email, UID).
• Any data stored in Firestore (e.g., push notification tokens).
• Note: Locally stored data such as daily entries, tags, and events will not be deleted automatically. You can delete this by using the Reset App option.

What Data May Be Retained

For legal, security, or operational reasons, certain minimal logs may be retained temporarily (e.g., server logs), but these do not include personal account data.
